Today Shane and I headed back down to Salt Lake to pick up my new bike. I was really excited to get the bike. I have been having some nightmares about getting a compact double. Shane and I were both really impressed with the service at Contender. I would highly recommend checking out this awesome bike store. Shane took a picture of me, Alison (my cousin), Ryan and the bike. They are the owners of the store. I definetly have been riding the wrong size of bike! I took the bike out this afternoon for a ride. What a difference! I am excited to try a few hills to check out the gearing. I test rode alot of bikes before arriving at the conclusion to buy this Orbea Orca. So now I need to eat a little crow...... I opted to buy a new bike instead of a new car. I know that I mentioned in a earlier post that I was for sure buying a new car. I guess the Honda will just have to keep on going for another hundred thousand!
I think that the brand played into this difference. If I would have went with like a Trek, I would have been on a mens 52 or a womens 54 (53.8). I know, confusing, but what a difference it makes!

In a saucepan combine butter and water;bring to a boil stirring occasionally. In a seperate large bowl combine the flour, sugar, salt and baking powder. Frost cake while still warm with Butter Frosting (see below)

Awesome, awesome. That is a sweet bike. I'm curious what size you were riding before and what size you're on now. That is a sweet bike. Zach
I was riding a mens 54 Specialized, this is a mens 51 Orbea. It is awesome to ride! What a difference the right size makes!
Is that a difference because of brands, compact vs standard, or just actual difference??
Different brands run with different sizing. There is also womens sizing. Some brands are the same size.
I know that they vary, I just wondered if they would vary by over 3 cm or if it was because it's compact or your other bike was way too big.
